Pitch a Pal - Future Friend Experiment
Making new and meaningful friends as adults can be a bit of a challenge, no? Especially if: you’ve moved countries your social circles have changed your friends got busy you miss socially alive and spontaneous conversations or you simply want more interesting humans in your life. So let's try something different, shall we? Pitch A Pal: Future Friends Edition is a lightly structured social salon where people create short “future friend” pitches — not to sell themselves per se, but to express the kinds of friendships, conversations, adventures, creative collaborations, and social energy they’d love more of in life. Think: creative co-conspirators museum wanderers emotionally intelligent conversation partners dinner party people deep-talk-and-dad-joke specialists future chosen family people who actually make plans Participants can: create a Future Friend deck optionally share it live browse others’ decks resonate, connect, encourage, and ask questions or simply come socially curious. No speed dating. No networking. No performative LinkedIn energy. Just interesting adults, thoughtful prompts, social possibility, and a room designed to make connection feel a little easier. Low-pressure. Slightly experimental. Socially alive. *Note: If you already have a friend that you adore and want to introduce the group to, you're welcome to invite and pitch them, as well! But this event does center individuals looking for their initial favorite people here in Helsinki. The event itself is free, but the venue has a €7/person cost; you can pay at the counter. You're, of course, more than welcome to leave a tip for the event itself through this site, if you'd like to see something like this happen again. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are available for purchase. After the event, you're free to linger and play board games or chat until the venue closes.
